The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge about toxic algae species, algae toxin and ecology of toxic algae.

Contents of the Course
Global review of toxic algae bloom, classification of toxic algae, techniques identification of micro algae, biology of toxic algae, identification of cyst, Algae toxin (PSP, DSP, NSP, Domoic Acid) , Cyanobacteria toxins, toxin production, techniques for toxin identification, accumulations of toxin in aquatic organisms, monitoring of algae toxin, management of fisheries and aqua-culture during the algae bloom.
