The aim of the course:
Determination of water pollution sources and monitoring

Contents of the Course
Introduction, point and nonpoint sources, causes of pollution, additional forms of water pollution, classifying pollutant source, global water pollution sources, ground water, costal areas and seas, lakes and rivers, oil spills, agricultural contamination, toxic chemicals and pesticides, non-native organisms, fertilization, nutrient addition, harmful algal blooms, radioactive waste, environmental monitoring and sensing, pollution prevention, novel techniques for water treatment, legislations, water quality.
