The aim of the course:
Giving information about toxic chemicals causing excesive pollution in water

Contents of the Course
Toxicologic terminology, Dose -response relation, Toxic chemical effects, toxicity data of chemical matters, toxic test design, using fish in aquatic toxicology, test protocols, calculation of LC, LT and LD values. Fish behaviors. Toxic chemical effects on tissue and cells. Toxic metal and ametal, insecticide, fungicide and herbicide. Reception, accumulation and eliminating of pollutants by aquatic animals in water. Lethal and sublethal effects. Effects on central nervous system and liver.
