Provide an overview of Turkish seas , which has coast of Anatolia, Mediterranean, Egean, Marmora and Black Sea,

Contents of the Course
General properties of coastal oceans and seas. Topographic characteristics of Turkish seas. Layer dynamics and stratification of seas . Tides , currenrts, wave and other pisical properties of seas. Fronts in shallow seas and estuaries. Water masses. Salt balance, pollutant disposal, sedimentation, estuaries and bays of Turkish seas. Coastal deformations and erosion, cosatal problems.possible effects of Global warming at Turkish seasStrategic plan and actions.
