The aim of the course:
The defination of finish foil.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : define and explain the importance of finish foil usage for furniture manufacturing.4
PO - 2 : formulate resin, silica, glycol ether, anti foam, wax and hardener usage amount1
PO - 3 : solve the problems during finish foils manufacturing2
PO - 4 : determine first and second surface layer consist of finish foils related to the end use applications area.3
PO - 5 : analyze the flow diagram of finish foils manufacturing6
PO - 6 : interpret and pinpoint foaming, low mechanical and thermal property problems5

Classification of finish foils, surface layer types, water and solvent based systems, chemical formulation used in foils manufacturing, quality properties of foils, and factors affecting these properties
