The aim of the course:
Improving the bonding and adhesion properties of wood material as a result of the application of the plasma surface modification technique to the wood material.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : knows the definition of plasma process and industrially applied plasma types.2,3
PO - 2 : learn the situations that require plasma application in wood material and the applications of plasma treatment in wood material and other sectors.2,3,4
PO - 3 : learn the changes in the wood material surface after plasma application and the methods of measuring these changes.2,3,4
PO - 4 : learn the gases used in plasma treatment, equipment required for plasma treatment, plasma application parameters3,4

Contents of the Course
Definition of plasma process, types of plasma, application of plasma treatment on wood materials and other sectors, the cases require the plasma treatment for wood materials, changes on wood surfaces after plasma treatment, gases using for plasma treatment, equipment for plasma treatment, plasma application parameters, testing of the success of plasma treatment apply for wood surfaces.
