To determine the technological properties of wood.

Contents of the Course
Hardness, Brinell, Rockwell, Vickens, Janka, Chalais-Meudon Brinell and Höppler hardness methods, factors affecting on hardness of wood, density, structure, moisture content, direction of fibers, abraison resistance, abraison test machine according to K. Egner and F. Kollman, factors affecting the abraison resistance, density, moisture concent, structure, fibre angle, finishing.
