Contents of the Course
Description and classification of analysis methods that are used in source rock and petroleum exploration. Analysis methods of total organic carbon (TOC), pyrolysis (Rock-Eval), vitrinite reflectance, thermal alteration index (TAI), extraction and column chromatography and interpretation of data that are measured in these methods. Gas chromatography (GC) and Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis and compounds that are recorded in gas and mass chromatograms.
