The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is that to teach the students advanced interpretation approaches of geo-electrical methods.

Contents of the Course
Introduction. Potential distribution in the earth. Electrical potential equations. The resistivity methods. Apparent resistivity measurements and interpretation procedures. Electrical sounding on multiple horizontal beds. Electrical mapping in three dimensional anomalies. Modeling of apparent resistivity curves. Self potential (SP) method. Origin of SP and SP field procedures. Interpretation of SP data. Sources of the induced polarization (IP) effects. IP measurements and field operations. Interpretation of IP data. Noise sources in IP. Electromagnetic (EM) theory. Description of EM fields. Field equipment, and operation in EM survey. Interpretation of EM data.
