The student should obtain advanced knowledge about seismology.

Contents of the Course
Introduction to Seismology, elasticity theory, wave propagation, wave equations, body waves and ray theory, near field and far field waves, surface waves and free oscillation, seismographs and seismogram, earthquake parameters, earthquake scaling, wave form modeling, tectonic and seismotectonic.
