The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a practical solution about main subjects of seismic waves, to help them use their knowledge to filter parameters and use to analysis of the seismic data. , to teach them how to search for earth structure.

Programme OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : summarise the general knowledge on main subject of seismic waves.2,31,3
PO - 2 : describe the digital filter parameters using to the analysis of seismic data.2,31,3,4
PO - 3 : apply digital filter for discrimination of simple and complex seismic records.2,33,6
PO - 4 : evaluate the results of filter to define earth structure2,31,3,4,6
PO - 5 : present before an audience the results and outcome of any exercise2,33,4,6
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), PO : Learning Outcome
