Competitions have a great impact on increasing the quality of the final product of architecture. The ideas that competes for the same subject ultimately aim to achieve better results. Within this course, a short history of architectural design competitions in Turkey and in the world will be given to students. With the examples of current architectural competition projects, student will analyze and criticize the architectural design competition projects in different scales. Competition colloquiums will be analyze as well. As a result, the students will be donated with the information and examples of competitions. |
