The aim of the course:
The purpose of the course is to research the potential relationship between rhetoric and architecture within the frame of theory. The course approaches to re-reading in architecture via rhetoric.

Contents of the Course
In the content of the course, it is aimed to bring into question rhetoric theme that is used producing discourse in architecture. Rhetoric as coding style and a crucial tool for persuasion, is interested in configuration logic of the textual messages. Re-reading, which is served to theory of architecture as a method, suggests an intellectual route that is based on rhetoric canons and rhetoric interpretation technics. With this aspect, rhetoric in architecture will interrogate potential relations in textual representation of architecture.
