To carry out a scientific study together with the information expressed in the course and the researches, taking into account scientific research methods and techniques.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

PO - 4 : will be able to carry out a scientific study by evaluating and analyzing the theater buildings from the specified angles, 2,33,5,6,

Contents of the Course
The designs of ancient theater buildings and physical-social factors affecting the designs. Approaches to medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and 18th century theater building designs. Theater structures and designs in the Tanzimat Period. Design approaches of theater buildings in the context of urban, functional and physical environment. Stage designs and techniques. Audience area designs in theater buildings. Developments in theaters in terms of production techniques.
