The aim of the course:
Determination of design process of theatre buildings constructed until present day from ancient age. Determination of the effects to theatre building designs of social, cultural, religious life and contruction techniques.

Contents of the Course
Design of theatre buildings constructed at ancient times and physical-social-cultural factors effected to designs. Design approaches for the theatre buildings belonging to Middle Ages, the Renaissance, Baroque and 18th century Period. The theatre buildings belonging to Tanzimat Period and design approaches of them. Stage design and construction techniques in theatre buildings. Design of audience parts in theatre buildings. Developments of theatre buildings in terms of construction techniques.
