Establishing positive foundations for textual criticism in architecture. Looking for philosophical support for breaching of hermeneutical difficulties. Systematic lookinto philosophical trends. Structuralist and Post-structuralist contributions into architectural criticism. Assessment of ontological, phenomenological, epistemological and semantic influence of Eco, Foucault, Gadamer, Heidegger and Eliade on art and architecture critique. Presentation of a model of criticism for architecture with special emphasis on design concepts. |
