This course is aimed to learn the concepts of urban design selected. In this context primarily, the concepts mentioned as objectives of urban design in the literature character, continuity and enclosure, quality of the public realm, ease of movement, legibility, adaptability, diversity will focus on concepts such. Other than that the permeability, The Interface, the impact of urban space enclosure in the bottom space, negative / positive space, streetscape, dynamic / static space, sustainability, ecology and so on. It will focus on such concepts. Arising out of this concept, as expressed in terms of urban design sense and use features will be discussed. The concepts selected in the course is not static. New concepts will be added over time due to development and will be examined. |
