Casting: Casting sands and pattern making, Moulding and casting processes, Melting furnaces, Casting of metals and alloys (cast iron, steel and nonferrous metals) Welding processes: Flame and electrical arc cutting, Welding electrodes, Shielded-arc welding, weld defects, SolderingPlastic Forming: Principles of cold and hot forming, Forging, Rolling and extrusion processes, Wire drawing and tube forming, Forming of sheet metals: Shearing, cutting, spinning, stretch forming, explosive forming and deep drawing.
