The aim of the course:
The Students Should Obtain Knowledge of Approaches and Methods in Determinations, Both Qualitative and Quantitative, and Characterization of Biomolecules, and Learn the Applications in Medicine and Industry.

Classes of Biomolecules. Structures, Functions, and Localization of Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids. Determination of Nucleic Acids, Sequence Analysis. Detection of Genes, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and Applications. DNA Analyses in Medicine, Molecular Weight Determinations, DNA Electrophoresis, Genomic Investigations. Amino Acids, Classes, Structures, Functions and Localizations of Proteins. Protein Determinations, Amino Acid Sequence Analysis, Protein Electrophoresis, Proteomics Investigations. Enzymes, Determinations of Their Concentrations and Activities. Enzyme Analyses in Medicine and Industry. Immunochemical Methods. Classification, Structures, Functions and Localizations of Carbohydrates. Carbohydrate Determination Methods. Carbohydrate Analyses in Medicine, Industry and Quality Control.
