The aim of the course:
To expand students repertoire through teaching them selected music from various ages and styles. Getting students to use multi-sounds (Chorus) and help them to gain skill for performing songs all together with others. The course also aims to develop candidate teachers' skills further in strengthening breathing and voice for effective performance

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

LO - 3 : Prepare for a concert and do rehersals. 4
LO - 4 : Give concert o auidence on the stage as a choir. 4

Contents of the Course
Sound improvement studies ; breathing and relaxation exercises; the role of diaphragm and abdominal region in breathing; the studies to establish audio integrity in the chorus; speaking and singing practice; understanding of the rules for establishing a good breathing control; practice for relaxation, relief, physical and moral control; sound generation and propagation; breathing practice with phonation; speaking and singing practice. Entonation exercises, use of decoding methods. Performing and interpering example songs from Turkish and the world choirs. Having knowledge about tdifference between primary and secondary school music practical studies on music education in Anatolian Fine Arts High Schools.
