The aim of the course:
This course is designed to present an introduction to the general properties of Turkish Flora.

Contents of the Course
Phytogeographic regions of Turkey (Avro-Siberian, Mediterranean, Irano-Turanian) , its characteristic species and climate. The floristic composition of Turkish plants, its distribution and comparision of floristic regions in terms of plant biodiversity and Anatolian Diagonal. List of rare and endemic plants and its distributions. The history of Flora of Turkey.
