The aim of the course:
To teach the cellular and molecular mechanisms mediating the pharmacological effects of drugs

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Define the terms of maximal effect, affinity, potency and efficacy
PO - 2 : Define the receptor theories
PO - 3 : Define the types of receptors and cellular mechanisms they mediate
PO - 4 : Define receptor-mediated cellular signal transduction systems
PO - 5 : Define drug target enzymes and their effects
