Diffuser internal flow hydraulics; basic equations, flow analysis and effecting factors, computer programs, Pumping and hydaulic variations; hydraulic head and related variations, Wave effects on diffuser performance, Initial dilution in homogenous receiving water; surface dilution, subsurface dilution, Dilution of round plumes, Initial dilution in stagnant receiving water of variable density, Secondary dispersion; coastal currents-diffuser direction relations, Brooks model, Outfall design with respect to currents and waves
