The aim of the course:
To obtain students methods and techniques related to repairing and strengthening of structures by diagnosing.

Contents of the Course
The reasons for repairing and strengthening of structures and the relevant techniques. Repairing and strengthening of reinforced concrete structures. Repairing and strengthening groups. The work need to be carried out on the structures located in earthquake area, and precautions to be taken. Materials and techniques used in repairing and strengthening procedure. Determination of repairing and strengthening level and the technique need to be applied; and preparation of the Project Some examples of reinforced concrete structures need repairing and strenghening. Strenghening of structures by adding new structural elements.
