The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to learn the behavior of prefabricated buildings and building elements, calculation and construction rules, and the stages of manufacturing and assembly of prefabricated structural elements.

Contents of the Course
The purpose of prefabricated structures. Definitions. Materials and Loads. Design Fundamentals. prefabricated elements. Joint zones and joins. structural systems; frame systems, floor-column systems whose stractural system is rigid with walls, systems whose structural system is made with large panels. Structural system element connections and force transmission, joint details. Diaphragm effect. Static and dynamic calculation of prefabricated systems and elements. Desing and stability. Joint design. Construction principles. Calculation and construction principles of earthquake resistant prefabricated structures. Manufacturing, assembly and quality control in prefabricated construction.
