The aim of the course:
The course intends to teach the students analysis and design of all kinds of slabs

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

PO - 3 : use equivalent frame method.1,5

Contents of the Course
Introduction, Analyses and design of slabs sections, One-way slabs, Two-way slabs, Special circumtances for slabs, Numerical examples for one and two-way slbs, Flat slabs, a numerical example for flat slab. Ribbed slabs, Numerical examples for ribbed slabs. Elastic plate teory, Equivalent frame methods.
