The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to learn the behavior of prefabricated buildings and building elements, calculation and construction rules, and the stages of manufacturing and assembly of prefabricated structural elements.

Contents of the Course
Introduction. The aim of prefabricated structures. Definitions. Materials and loads. Design principles. Prefabricated elements. Connecting regions and connections. Load bearing systems; frame systems, large panel systems, composite concrete construction. Panalisation. Types of load bearing systems. Connections details. Effects of diaphragm. Earthquake design and analysis. Design of joints and connections. Principles of construction, manufacture. erection in prefabricated construction and quality control tests.
