The aim of the course:
To examine the impact of the concept of culture on the formation of landscapes through film landscapes; To discuss different issues regarding human-nature/environment, human-human relations through film landscapes, and to reveal the multi-layered and interpretable aspect of the landscape. To teach the use of film landscapes as a learning resource in landscape architecture.

Contents of the Course
Concept of landscape, film landscapes, film readings about human-nature relationship (apocalyptic landscapes in movies, wilderness landscapes, landscapes where human-nature balance is preserved, film forests), reading film landscapes about human/society-human relationship (film depending on gender roles). landscapes, war-despair-fear landscapes, modernism-urbanization-transforming landscapes, social relations-neighborhood-friendship landscapes, etc.).
