The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to provide students with a foundation in landscape ecology, to show the effects of natural ecological factors on the structure of the landscape, and to produce ecological solutions for problematic areas.

Introduction to landscape ecology and basic concepts, Main fields of interest of landscape ecology, Contribution of landscape ecology to Landscape Architecture, Relations between landscape ecology and other disciplines, Brief history of landscape ecology, Natural ecological factors that make up the landscape structure and their relationships, Pollution and its effects on the environment, Ecological design approaches.
