The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to teach the Angiosperm plants which are spreading all over the world and especially in Turkey, to give them the ecological conditions they can grow and to teach them how to evaluate them in landscape architecture.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : learn importance of Angiosperm plants and their differences from the other plants.3,41,3

LO - 3 : identify a plant when they see them in Turkey or abroad by looking at parts of the plants.3,41,3

Contents of the Course
Contents of the CourseIntroduction to plants world, flora and vegetation, general properties and systematic of Gymnosperm plants included trees and shrubs, descriptions of Gymnosperm plant species growing around the world and Turkey, botanical, ecological and distributional features of important genus, species, subspecies, cultivars and varieties, their implications for esthetical and functional usage properties in Landscape Architecture, their usage potentials in various landscaping areas
