The aim of the course:
The course aims to; define and sort wood based wastes, and to offer as a new raw material. In addition; to recover wood based wastes for economy, decrease environment pollution and to gain a new perspective from the view point of wood product industry.

Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : define wood waste and classification systems according to waste resources5,8,111,
LO - 2 : analysis waste recycling in waste management hierarchy according to waste conditions.5,8,111,
LO - 3 : offer the alternatives for recycling of wood based wastes5,8,111,3,5,
LO - 4 : determine probable contaminants and prupose solution ways to removal of solid and chemical contaminants in wood waste recycling5,8,111,3,5
LO - 5 : prupose different technics for probable problems in recycling of wood based panels5,8,111,3,5
LO - 6 : develop a viewpoint for wood based waste as a new raw materials and so propose solution ways for tha raw material problem of wood based industries5,8,111,3,5
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome
