The aim of the course:
Forest Industry Engineering is not the only wood-based industries. Forestry Industry Engineering also includes non wood forest products to be processed on an industrial scale. Students in the department will be recognize non-wood herbal products that the export value in our country. The students will learn the production systems of non-wood products processed on an industrial scale. The students will be able to internship in the factory processing at industrial scale non-wood forest products. After graduating from the Department of Forest Industry Engineering, Students will be able to establish business related to the processing of non-wood products.

Contents of the Course
The Definition of non-wood forest products (NWFP). The definition of non-wood herbal products (NWHP) and scope. The promotion, collection and cultivation of the non wood herbal products traded. In our country, workflow of non wood herbal products processed at an industrial scale. The workflow in the production of essential oils from aromatic plants ın our country. In our country, the export and import amount of non wood herbal products.
