The aim of the course:
The aim of the course to comprehend the students in the furniture production of classical and modern, raw materials used, equipment and production techniques to enable them to upgrade their own operations and to establish priorities for such improvements.

Contents of the Course
Definition, history and classification of furniture. Raw materials for the furniture industries and their physical and mechanical properties. Auxiliary materials in the furniture production. Physical planning and automation systems at the furniture plants. Furniture design and dimensioning for serial production. Furniture types of solid wood, case, postforming, softforming, 3D and wrapping profiles as processing technologies of furniture. Techniques of package and transport at the furniture industries
