The aim of the course:
The course aims to determine the anatomical, physical and mechanical properties of wood and measurement techniques of these properties. Moreover, the course aims to determine the usage of woods with respect to mechanical and physical properties of wood.

Contents of the Course
Relative humidity, measure of moisture, wood-water relationship, weight-volume relations of wood, sorption, capillarity, water transmission in wood, hygroscopic water movements in wood, thermal properties of wood, mechanical properties of wood and measure techniques.
