The aim of the course:
To give knowledge about definition of extraction and extraction methods.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

PO - 2 : Learns the methods for cleaning the samples, maceration, percolation, liquid-liquid extraction, extraction with Soxhlet device, continous extraction under reflux condanser, counter-current extraction.11,3,6,

PO - 4 : Developes information from bachelor degree to master degree.11,3,6,

Contents of the Course
Knowlegde about the preparing the samples from plant materials, the methods for cleaning of the samples, maceration, percolation, liquid-liquid extraction, extraction with Soxhlet device, continous extraction, reflux extraction, counter-current extraction, industrial-scale plant extraction.
