The aim of the course:
This course provides basic information about classification, diagnosis, isolation, purification and structure determination methods of chemical compounds in plant materials.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Can perform quality control practices in plant materials.3,7
PO - 2 : Can isolate and clarify the structure of plant-derived pharmaceutical raw material.
PO - 3 : Will be able to carry out identification reactions for natural compounds.

Contents of the Course
This course includes the classification of chemical compounds according to their structures, also identification and quantification experiments, isolation and identification techniques of each group.
