They realize that values education is not only the religion teacher?s job, but also English teachers, like all other teachers are responsible for raising ethical individuals of the future.

In this course, students learn about the definition and classification of value and its relationship with other concepts. In addition, they examine examples of values education in the world and Turkey. They discuss different approaches of values education and its relationship with the teaching profession. Towards end of the term, they learn about the responsibilities which teachers and English teachers possess towards teaching values. The students also discuss and employ values education focused activities that can be implemented in the English classrooms.
