The aim of the course:
1. Discuss the characterisitcs of Postmodern Novel, 2. Discuss the similarities and differences between postmodern novel and the other kinds of it, such as modern and realistic novels, 3. Read Samuel Beckett's Trilogy as an example Narrative of Postmodern Art, 4. Read Ian McEwan's Art of Metaficiton in Atonement.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : understand the characterisitcs of Postmodern Novel,
LO - 2 : identify the similarities and differences between postmodern novel and the other kinds of it, such as modern and realistic novels,
LO - 3 : read and interpret Samuel Beckett's Trilogy as an example Narrative of Postmodern Art,
LO - 4 : understand the role of metaficiton as a postmodern feature in the narrative constructiıon of Ian McEwan's Atonement

1. What does Postmodern Art mean? 2. How postmodern novel is both different from and similar to the earlier genres of novel, such as Modern novel, and the realistic one? 3. What does representation mean from the perspective of postmodern art, and what is the fucntion of Author? 4. Characteristice of Postmodern Novel, 5. Samuel Beckett's Postmodern Imagiantion 6.Samuel Beckett's Trilogy and the question of fragmented Identity 7. Language of the Unamabale 8.
