The aim of the course:
Comprehension of the characteristics and significance of short story as a literary genre. Comprehension of how to analyze and enjoy a short story as well as any other work of fiction with special reference to British and American Literature as well as some examples of world literature. Comprehension of how elements of fiction such as plot, character, setting, theme, style, narration contributes to the meaning of any work of fiction.
