understand some basic concepts of research and its methodologies in literature
identify appropriate research topics in literature
select and define appropriate research problem and parameters in literature
prepare a project proposal (to undertake a project)
organize and conduct research (advanced project) in a more appropriate manner
write a research report and thesis
write a research proposal

The aim of this course is to provide insight into research topics in literary studies. The course achieves its purpose by giving students an understanding of a variety of methods and approaches which are used in literary criticism. Students will be trained in developing research questions and assessing the applicability and relevance of different research methods. With this, they will develop unique critical approaches to works of literature. |
