In this course, the problems of transportation in cities and metropolitan areas in developed countries, the effects of transportation on cities and livability, dilemma in urban transportation policies, urban-transportation relation, transportation policies and practices in developed countries, common misconceptions in urban transportation, transportation policies for livable cities, basic principles for planning and implementation of balanced transportation, transport issues in city planning are explained. |
