The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to provide basic theoretical and practical method information about the field, to establish the connection between cinema and Turkish folklore/culture and to make comments.
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : At the end of this course, the student will learn the basic concepts and approaches related to Turkish folklore.8
LO - 2 : Will be able to explain the relationship between Turkish culture and cinema in many ways on the basis of subject, character, motif, application and space variables.8
LO - 3 : Can interpret the relationship between Turkish culture and cinema in a versatile way on the basis of subject, character, motif, application and space variables.8

Fundamentals and approaches: The relationship between culture and cinema in the world and in Turkey; Cultural themes, places, characters and practices from folklore elements in Turkish cinema.
