The aim of the course:
To teach the beginning level of Russian within the framework of grammar rules and make active use of the language.

Contents of the Course
Teaching Russian at beginner level: The system and sounds of the Russian language, exercises for alphabet and phonetics, noun genders, personal pronouns, possessive adjectives, the usage of 'and, if' conjunctions, the usage of possible and restrictive expressions, verb conjugations, adjectives, teaching the question words of adjectives that change according to their gender and singular-plural forms, ordinal numbers, prepositional case, adverbs, conjugation of reflexive verbs.

 Week 4Singular and plural names. Singular and plural situations of the nouns according to their gender.
 Week 5Reading, writing, speaking and translation related to the subject.
 Week 6personal pronouns, possessive pronouns.Making sentences by using them.
 Week 7Reading, writing, speaking and translation related to the subject.
 Week 8Verbs.Their conjugations at present tense.
 Week 9mid-term exam
 Week 10Conjugations of the verbs at past tense.
