The aim of the course:
To be able to understand the works of Ottoman period, a time of crucial importance in Turkish Language and Turkish History and Ottoman Turkish grammar.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

The Ottoman Turkish Language within the historical context of Turkish, Ottoman Alphabet, The letter forms at the beginning, in the middle and at the end; compound and uncompound letters; signs; Transcription Alphabet; Reading-writing studies
