The aim of the course:
To learn basic information and methods about enzymology.
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : They will have knowledge about the structure, kinetics and catalysis mechanisms of enzymes.
LO - 2 : They will learn about enzymes used in biotechnological applications.
LO - 3 : They will have knowledge about purification and immobilization techniques of enzymes.

Contents of the Course
Overview of enzymology, general properties of enzymes, classification of enzymes, enzyme catalysis mechanisms, enzyme kinetics, enzymes used in industrial fields - fermenter systems, enzyme isolation and purification methods.
