Introduction to general microbiology laboratory, preparation and sterilization of bacterial media, aseptic techniques and preparation of bacterial cultures, determining the ubiquity of microorganisms, antimicrobial effects of various chemical and physical factors, microscopic observation of microorganisms and their sub cellular structures, differential or selective media and biochemical features of microorganisms, bacterial identification, bacterial growth curve, microbial analysis of food, water and soil samples, host- microorganism interactions, phage growth and isolation, microbial genetics, serological methods utilized in identification.
