Preparation of bacterial medium and bacterial culture, screening of antibiotic resistant genes in bacteria, isolation of genomic and plasmid DNA, isolation of protein, determination of quantity and purity of nucleic acids and proteins, electrophoresis of nucleic acids and proteins, restriction endonucleases and their usage, gene cloning, transformation and expression, polimerase chain reaction and applications.Laboratory exercises may require additional time outside of the scheduled lab hours. |
