The aim of the course:
The study of the basic tissue types and the organs under microscope. This course serves an introductory course recommended for students to understand the organisation from the cell to the organ and clasification of tissue types.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Describe similarities and differences in the basic tissue types1,21,3,4,
LO - 2 : To be able to identify from microscope slides prepared from basic histological structures of different tissues.1,21,3,4,

Contents of the Course
Introduction to histology, histological techniques, cassification of epithelia, glandular epithelium, connective tissue, blood tissue, cartilage tissue; examinations of hyaline cartilage, fibrocartilage, and elastic cartilage, bone tissues; examinations of different types of bone formation (osteogenesis), intramembranous ossification and endochondral ossification, muscle tissue; skeletal muscle tissue, cardiac muscle tissue, and smooth muscle tissue.
