The aim of the course:
Chemical principles that are particularly important to analytical chemistry. Fundemantal principles of qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis. Theoretical basis of the gravimetric and volumetric analytical methods and some applications.

Contents of the Course
Acid-Base titration curves, buffer solutions and hydrolysis, poliprotic acids and bases, amphiprotic salts. Titration curves for complex acid-base systems, polyfunctional acids and polyfunctional bases. Application of the neutralization titrations, Reagents used in the preparations of the standard solutions. Complex formation titrations. Complex formation reactions, titrations with aminocarboxylic acids, titrations with inorganic complexing agents. Introduction to electrochemistry: Oxidation-reduction reactions, electrochemical cells, electrode potentials. Cell potentials, calculation of redoxs equilibrium constants, titration curves for redox titrations and indicators. Applications of the oxidation-reduction titrations, oxidazing agents, reducing agents Applications of the oxidation-reduction titrations, oxidation agents, reducing agents. Chemical kinetics
