The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to inform about reinforcing fibre materials in composite production and polymer matrıx materials which keep them together.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Structural chemical properties of fibres and processing of fibres

Introduction to fibres and polymers Micro structural and chemical properties of fibres and polymers, Fibre processing methods, High performance fibres and Natural fibres and their comparison, Micro mechanical test methods (single fibre, fibre pull out and microbond) and experimental works
